Mesitis offers high networth clients ("HNC") the ability to trade all asset classes from a single platform, while enjoying the safety of a ring-fenced account in a major bank. Our target customers currently bank with the Private Banks, where they get their entire product requirement i.e. Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, Fx and Cash/Deposits. Discount brokers typically don't work for HNCs because of perceived counter-party risk and limited product availability (most only offer equities, listed derivatives and Fx). However Private Banks are VERY expensive .... For the first time HNCs get a low cost alternative which gives them their required product breadth as well as safety. Mesitis also offers investment advice via an 'open architecture' financial advisor model ... Our target market is about 12mm+ people worldwide, but we plan to start with Asia ... Our ambition is to do to private banking what John Bogle did to the fund management industry.
