Smartgrow creates turnkey aquaponics (combination of growing fish and vegetables in water in a symbiotic sustainable closed loop system) to allow communities to grow their own clean food without prior domain expertise. Specifically, this means we offer: 1) a standard Smartgrow aquaponics system setup 2) (currently) water & air sensors 3) a cloud-based expert system for disaster prevention and to analyze the sensor readings to deduct simple actionable instructions for site operators to achieve optimal performance of the system We sell our systems equipped with the sensors for a small upfront fee and generate ongoing revenues through our monitoring services. This aligns our incentives with those of our customers. Our initial target customers are governments, schools, hospitals, property developers (residential and commercial) in developed markets and cities like Singapore, Tokyo, New York etc. A future BoP product line is planned for a second phase.
